Movie shoot will shut down busy Hamilton street

A movie shoot will put a busy street in east Hamilton out of commission for two days next week.

The Hamilton Film office says Kenilworth Avenue North, between Britannia Avenue and Barton Street East, will be completely closed on Monday, Oct. 16 and Tuesday, Oct. 17.

However, the street will be open for two hours during rush hour.

Producers are filming the crime thriller Lucky Day, starring Crispin Glover, Nina Dobrev and Luke Bracey.

The movie is written and directed by Roger Avary, an Oscar winner for co-writing Pulp Fiction with Quentin Tarantino.
