Some good news for BC Ferries travellers this holiday Monday as the Queen of Alberni is back in service today.
BC Ferries removed the ship from service for one round trip between Tsawwassen and Duke Point for an engine repair.

The smaller Queen of New Westminster took Alberni’s place for that trip, which left Tsawwassen at 8:15 p.m. and made its return trip from Duke Point at 10:45 p.m.
BC Ferries was warning passengers on either of those sailings to arrive well in advance, even if they have reservations, as crew preparations are expected to cause delays.
