Alberta election 2017: Bob Young wins race to become mayor of City of Leduc

Bob Young will become the next mayor of the City of Leduc.

Shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday, the city released unofficial voting numbers. With 100 per cent of the ballot boxes counted, Young had 2,813 votes. His closest challenger was Dave MacKenzie with 2,457 votes.
