Alberta election 2017: Lacombe results

The City of Lacombe has a new mayor in Grant Creasey, who displaced incumbent Peter Bouwsema with 1,964 votes to 1,417 in the municipal election on Monday night, according to preliminary tallies.

The council is a mix of incumbents and newcomers. Returning to council is Reuben Konnik, who took his seat with 1,562 votes.

The other elected councillors were Don Gullekson (1,575 votes), Thalia Hibbs (2,457 voetS), Cora Hoekstra (2,265 votes), and Jonathan Jacobson (1,672 votes).
