Burlington Lift Bridge will be off limits overnight

The Burlington Canal Lift Bridge will be closed overnight for maintenance this week. Public Services and Procurement Canada

Another round of maintenance will force the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge to be closed overnight this week.

The lift bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 9:00 p.m. Monday night until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.

The bridge will be closed during the same time frame until this Saturday.

Officials say rush hour and marine traffic will not be affected by the closures.
