One person has died and another one is injured following a helicopter crash near the airport in Campbell River.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) said the incident took place on Sunday around 5 p.m.

Fire crews and ambulance responded to the scene. The survivor was airlifted to Victoria General Hospital.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
