New Brunswick RCMP have launched an investigation after a man’s body was discovered in the Saint John River near Tobique Narrows, N.B. on Aug. 2, 2017.

The Mounties say that Tony Vaillancourt, 47, of Morrell Siding, N.B., had not been in contact with his family or friends since April 9.

Following an autopsy and further investigation, police have determined that Vaillancourt’s death is suspicious.

They’re asking anyone with information related to 43-year-old man’s death to contact RCMP at 506-452-3491.
