Hamilton police are investigating a vandalism spree which targetted the city’s bus shelters.
Police say they were contacted by the City of Hamilton on Tuesday morning after the glass in at least 17 bus shelters was shattered overnight.
A post on the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) Twitter account has advised people to “take care” in those areas.
Many of the smashed shelters are at bus stops along Main Street East, in the Ottawa Street and Gage Park area, while a number of others are on Barton Street, between Gage Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue.
Several others are confirmed on Hamilton mountain along Fennell Avenue and on Garth Street, near the mountain brow.
