Prince Albert man facing 7 firearm charges

A 39-year-old man is facing seven firearm charges after a Prince Albert, Sask., home was searched by police on Tuesday.

An Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) investigation led officers to the 1600-block of 17 Street West at around 11:10 a.m. CT.

ISET officials said a .270 rifle and a large amount of ammunition were seized during a search of the home.

The Prince Albert man was arrested at the scene.

He is also facing a charge of failing to comply with his recognizance not to possess firearms, ammunition or other weapons.
