#OurYYC On the Road: Global News Hour at 6 at The Military Museums

WATCH: Highlights from Global Calgary's On the Road show at The Military Museums.

Global Calgary is taking our show on the road to The Military Museums (TMM) of Calgary on Thursday, Sept. 14.

It is a one-stop destination that gives you a good sense of what it was like to be a Canadian soldier over the past 200 years.

This is where Linda, Scott and the crew will broadcast from on Sept. 14, 2017.

We’ll find out more about the role of Alberta soldiers in the Victory at Hill 70, one of our military’s lesser known battles. It is run by The Military Museums Foundation, a non-profit group that wants to make sure children in Calgary keep our military history alive.

You will also hear more about how you can support the Museums through an Oct. 20 Centennial Gala, commemorating Canadian courage and sacrifice while raising money for a battlefield tour and field trips for children. Click here to read more about the gala, including ticket information.

Tune in Thursday, Sept. 14 to Global News at 5 p.m. and the Global News Hour at 6 and watch the livestream above.
