Vernon mom creates inspirational back to school messages

Harwood Elementary

Going back to school after summer holidays can be nerve-wracking for some students.

“They were encouraging, inspirational messages and just created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our families and our students,” said principal Luke Friesen.

Messages included “Don’t worry be happy” and “Make a new friend today you can never have too many.”
