Saskatoon police are looking for a Mercedes Benz that was involved in a hit and run.

Officers were called to the intersection of Valley Road and Dundonald Avenue at 8 p.m. Wednesday for a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

The motorcyclist said he was heading eastbound on Valley Road when a westbound Mercedes Benz struck the side of his motorcycle, causing him to go in the ditch.

The Mercedes driver then fled before police arrived.

The motorcyclist, a 62-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment of what police believe are non-life-threatening injuries.
