Abbotsford police are warning of a high-risk sex offender who has just been released.
Donald William Snow, 61, has been released from federal custody and will be supervised by Abbotsford Community Corrections.
He is currently of no fixed address.
Abbotsford police say Snow has a criminal history, which includes several sexual offences against children including invitation to sexual touching, sexual assault, gross indecency, exposing genitals to youth, and possession of child pornography. He has also been convicted of failing to adhere with his court ordered conditions.
Police say Snow appears to target children between three and 15 years old.
He is described as standing 5-11, 216 pounds, with short grey hair and green eyes. He drives a brown 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue with B.C. license plate EJ9 54S.
Snow is subject to court-ordered conditions including:
- Not to attend a public park, public swimming area, daycare centre, or community centre where persons under the age of 16 are present or can reasonably be expected to be present.
- Not to access or possess pornography of any kind including but not limited to pornographic images accessed via the internet.
- Not to be found on public transit except with prior written permission from his bail supervisor.
- Not to possess a computer, data storage devices such as memory stick and USB flash drives, writeable DVDs or CDs.
Police say if anyone sees Snow in violation of any of the conditions listed above, they should contact their local police department immediately.
