Update: Vancouver police has located Brouwer and he is safe and sound.
Vancouver police (VPD) are hoping you’ll be able to help them find 84-year-old Wolbertus “Bert” Brouwer.
VPD says Brouwer left his home on Monday at around 3 a.m. near Burrard Street and West 10th Avenue, and has not returned.

His family says his absence is out of character and they are concerned because he needs medication, which he has not taken today.
Brouwer is described as Caucasian, 5’9″ tall with a medium build, short grey hair, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, beige shorts and black and red clogs with wool socks.
Anyone who sees him should call 911 and stay with him until officials arrive.
