Next week will mark 12 years since Michael Parmer was gunned down in a parking lot in east end Hamilton, in a case that remains unsolved.
Hamilton police issued a plea for new information on Thursday. Homicide detectives say that based on interviews and security camera videos, they believe there are “people in our community who have knowledge as to who is responsible for this senseless crime.”

Parmer succumbed to his injuries about 12 hours after being shot near the former CD’s bar at Roxborough Avenue and Ottawa Street North on Sept. 9, 2005 after 3 a.m.

The 22-year-old was from Niagara Falls, N.Y.
Three suspects are wanted in the case — two men in their early 20s and a young woman.
