No charges will be laid after collision causes power outages in Strathroy and Lambton County

The OPP are releasing more details following Monday’s power outage that impacted thousands of residents in Strathroy and the Lambton County area.

Officers responded to a farm tractor collision in the 4900 block of Churchill Line, Enniskillen Township shortly before 3:30 p.m.

According to investigators, a farm tractor in a field had collided with two hydro poles.

Nearly 14,000 Hydro One customers in the Lambton County area were impacted by a power outage, as well as nearly 3,000 Entegrus customers in Strathroy.

Police say no injuries were reported as a result of the collision and no charges will be laid.
