Man wanted for assault with a weapon after throwing coffee at drive-thru employee

Edmonton police are asking the public for help finding a man wanted for an assault on a drive-thru employee in April.

Police have released a photo in hopes of identifying the individual involved.

In a web post Friday, the EPS said the man “threw hot coffee at the employee who served him” at a drive-thru located near 128 Avenue and 82 Street.

The incident happened at around 1 p.m. on April 14.

“After being verbally abusive to the employee that was serving him, he proceeded to throw his hot coffee at them,” police said.

The man then drove off in a white or silver sedan style vehicle.

He’s described having a medium build, dirty blonde or brown hair, with a buzz cut on the sides and longer on top.

He was wearing a white T-shirt and black hoodie at the time.
