The house that’s featured as the birthplace of Harry Potter in the seventh film, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, is on the market.
In the film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1, Lord Voldemort went to the home that belonged to the Potters in the fictional village of Godric’s Hollow. Voldemort killed Harry’s parents, James and Lilly, but was unsuccessful in killing Harry.
The exterior of this home is displayed when Harry returns to the house with Hermione to show her the place where he was born.

The historic De Vere House, located in Lavenham, Suffolk, U.K., is currently listed at £995,000 which translates to about $1.6 million in Canadian dollars.
A description of the home on real estate agents Carter Jonas website claims that it is “steeped in history”.
“De Vere House is an outstanding Grade I listed property steeped in history and, more recently, made famous for its appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, the description states.

The house features six bedrooms, four bath/shower rooms, an entrance hall, reception hall, sitting room, dining room, drawing room, two kitchens, utility room and an established garden and grounds.
“Even though Lavenham is synonymous with fine timber-framed houses, De Vere House stands out as one of the most prestigious with its beautiful facade and significant period features throughout,” the description reads.
