Woman seriously injured in rollover on Mount Horeb Road in Omemee

Mount Horeb Road in Omemee  was closed following a single vehicle rollover on Thursday morning.

Kawartha Lakes OPP and emergency personnel responded to the crash around 7:30 a.m. Police say the driver – a 60-year-old woman from Janetville – was taken to hospital with life-altering injuries.

The road between Highway 7 and Lilac Road is currently closed for a collision investigation.  The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigations (TCI) Unit is on scene.

The road reopened just after 1 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
