Halifax RCMP seek information in pedestrian hit-and-run

Halifax RCMP are asking for help in connection with a hit-and-run vehicle collision around lunchtime on Wednesday in Cow Bay, N.S.

Police say at about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, a 24-year-old male was walking on Cow Bay Road at the intersection of Cleary Drive when he was hit from behind by a gold or yellow-coloured compact car.

According to police, the man hit the windshield of the car and was thrown in the air.

RCMP say the car left the scene and “should have damage to its windshield.” They say the car would also be missing a side mirror.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
