A man in his late 30s has died after a crash in Hamilton’s north end early Friday morning.
Police were called to Shaw and Cheever streets, near Barton and Wentworth, just after 3:00 a.m.
Police say a man driving what is being called a “low-speed motorcycle” collided with a fence and suffered significant injuries.
Media relations officer Lorraine Edwards tells CHML News the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not been released.
Officers are still investigating the cause of the collision. It’s Hamilton’s 11th traffic fatality this year.
