2 Calgarians arrested, police seize ‘shatter’ and other drugs following Turner Valley traffic stop

A man and a woman from Calgary have been arrested after a traffic stop in southern Alberta that resulted in a drug seizure.

RCMP said police seized 18 grams of the marijuana derivative “shatter,” 298 grams of marijuana, 4.4 grams of cocaine, as well as significant amounts of acid, MDMA and $2,980 in cash.

Police said the vehicle was pulled over on Main Street in Turner Valley, southwest of Calgary.

Shawn Nobert, 25 and Sarah Warne, 22, have been charged with five counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of proceeds of crime.

They will both remain in custody until their next court appearance on June 12.
