A series of extraordinary weather events hit New Brunswick on Tuesday.

A rare tornado watch was issued throughout central New Brunswick, including for the Stanley, Doaktown, Miramichi and Blackville areas.

In addition to the tornado warning, photos and videos of hail hitting Plaster Rock, N.B., have emerged overnight. While the video shows some wild weather, the first reports indicate there wasn’t any major damage with only a few trees knocked over.
