Police say the charges come after responding to reports of a domestic dispute at a cottage June 11.

Following an investigation, police said they seized a stolen vehicle the next day in Fundy National Park.

A search of the vehicle turned up numerous stolen goods including identification cards, credit and debit cards and other items.

Drugs and items used in producing illicit drugs — believed to be crystal meth — were also discovered and sent for testing, police say.

Corinda Belanger, 32, and 39-year-old Marco Grenier appeared in Moncton Provincial Court June 13 to face charges of stolen property and breach of probation. Grenier also was charged with a breach of a court order.

Police say when lab tests returned, they confirmed the drugs seized were methamphetamine. They say other stolen property was also found in the items seized.

The two were charged with production of methamphetamine and six further counts of possession of stolen property.
