A family of six is in the care of Emergency Support Services following a house fire early this morning.
Kelowna fire fighters were called to the residence in the 500 block of Holbrook Road in Rutland at around 2 a.m.

The fire started in the garage and spread to a utility room.
None of the occupants was hurt.
The fire is not considered suspicious.
