The festival will once again be held on the Saint John waterfront over the New Brunswick Day long weekend, Aug. 5-7.
The mainstage will play host to Canadian acts such as Jessica Rhaye, The Strumbellas, Matt Mays and Tegan and Sara.
“We’ve added a second stage sponsored by Canada 150, which will highlight New Brunswick bands, musicians, and cultural groups performing on Saturday and Sunday,” wrote Ray Gracewood, chairman of the Area 506 committee, in a press release.
Discover Saint John will once again be a sponsor for the festival and will help bring the second stage to life. They’ll also host design competitions and Canada specific events to help celebrate the nation’s 150th birthday.
“Last year’s event was affirmation of the amazing things happening in our province. We’re ecstatic about the level of interest people have shown in the concept,” Gracewood said.

The container village will once again return to the festival, providing a home for the province’s multi-cultural associations and artisans. The area will be free and open to all ages throughout Friday and Saturday.
This year there will be a ‘Road of Restaurants’ and a New Brunswick craft beer garden that will feature breweries from across New Brunswick.
