Two workers were seriously injured during an industrial accident in downtown Toronto on Monday afternoon.
Toronto police said it happened at Bay and Walton streets, just south of Gerrard Street West, around 1:30 p.m.

The male workers, believed to be in their 40s or 50s, had been struck by concrete at a construction site.
Officers reported the men were conscious and breathing when they arrived. Paramedics had rushed one victim to a trauma centre and the other to a local hospital.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
