TORONTO – Police are investigating after a double stabbing in east-end Toronto left two people in hospital, one with serious injuries.
Officers were called to the scene of a reported home invasion (on Sammon Avenue near Coxwell Avenue) just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

One man, found suffering from serious injuries, was rushed to hospital but police say he is also considered a suspect in the incident.
A second person suffered minor injuries.
Police say they believe the people involved know each other but would not elaborate on their relationship or a possible motive for the home invasion.
