Police find trail of glass at popular Toronto toboggan hill, man injured

TORONTO – A popular toboggan hill in Toronto has been shut down after a man was cut and a significant amount of glass was found underneath the snow.

Police say a group of parents located the trail of glass at an east-end park (at Greenwood Avenue and Dundas Street) after a father was injured by a 25-centimetre shard on the hill.

City crews were then called to the scene where they spent hours removing the glass.

Police are now looking to see if the glass was planted intentionally and say the hill will be closed until at least Monday.
