The Kelowna branch of the Royal Canadian Legion cut a cheque for just shy of $30,000 to the B.C. Cancer Foundation this week.
The donation was made possible thanks to funds from the annual poppy campaign.

The cancer foundation was just one of a handful of charities the Kelowna legion was able to help with last year’s donations.
The funding will go towards purchasing medical equipment.
