TORONTO – Teachers at three more school boards took their turn at staging a one-day walkouts to end the first week of rotating strikes.
Public elementary teachers in Upper Grand, Kawartha Pine Ridge, and Simcoe County school boards hit the picket lines Friday morning in protest of Bill 115.

The three school boards urged parents to make alternate child care arrangements during the one-day job action.
On Thursday, teachers in York Region, Trillium Lakelands and Renfrew districts participated in the rotating strikes.
The Toronto District School Board, the largest in Ontario, announced teachers plan to strike on Tuesday.
Peel District School Board will also join the TDSB in the planned walkout.
