Suspects rob Alberta liquor store with firearm for 12 pack of beer

Police are searching for three people believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at a liquor store in Millet, Alta.

Wetaskiwin RCMP said a man entered the store Saturday at around 2:40 p.m., brandished a firearm and demanded the cashier open a register. He didn’t get any money but did leave with beer, according to police.

RCMP said the suspect got into a waiting car where a man and a woman were inside. The vehicle was seen heading towards Wetaskiwin.

The store employee wasn’t hurt.

The suspect was wearing a ski mask during the robbery, but was caught on video earlier without the mask.

The other man involved in the incident is said to have a tattoo of a treble clef on the right side of his neck.

The female suspect has long, dyed dark red hair, and was wearing leggings and a bulky black and red sweatshirt.

The car is described as a dirty green four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan.

Millet is 54 kms south of Edmonton.
