Calgary police said two children were left in a car outside a city casino Friday evening.
Security first spotted the kids, ages 10 and 11, in a parked vehicle at around 7:30 p.m. at Calgary Casino on Meridian Road in the northeast.

Despite the -20 C temperature, police said the kids are okay.

Police said their father was located and taken into custody. The man is now under arrest for a different matter, but police did not say what it is.
The children have been returned to their mother.
