An impressive show of Christmas spirit in Terrasse-Vaudreuil, just west of Montreal island, is garnering a lot of attention.
Normand Leclerc’s home, on the corner of 5e Avenue and 3e Boulevard is festooned with dozens of light-up inflatable Christmas decorations.
Leclerc admits he’s lost count of how many inflatable decorations he owns.
He has been setting up bigger and bigger installations for seven Christmases now as a unique way to connect with his inner child.
“It takes me three days to set all this up,” Leclerc told Global News.

He starts shopping for new whirligigs in September, keeping an eye out for sales, and makes a point to ask neighbourhood kids what they’d like to see decorating his yard.
Leclerc set the installation up with the idea that those passing by would be able to interact with it, but admits people have vandalized it in the past.
He lives in the house alone and is so dedicated to his Christmas decorations, that he parks around the corner while the installation is up.
