WINNIPEG –Winnipeg police are warning the public to be cautious as two high-risk sex offenders are going to be released from prison.
James Sheldon Jasper, 40, has been convicted of numerous sexual offences against children.
He’s considered at high risk to reoffend against children, especially boys.
Jasper is expected to live in Winnipeg after his release from the Milner Ridge Correctional Centre Sunday.
The second high-risk sex offender, Raine Semple, will be released Monday.
The 43-year-old has a long list of violent and sexual offences.
Police said he’s also at high risk to re-offend and said women should be particularly vigilant.
Semple is also expected to live in Winnipeg after his release from the Stony Mountain Institution.
