Two people who allegedly took the bait face charges related to the mail theft.
Just before 3 a.m. Monday, West Kelowna RCMP were advised mail had been stolen from a community box on Dryden Road in Peachland, including an item of bait mail.
That lead Canada Post and RCMP investigators to a vehicle at a West Kelowna gas station.

The two occupants were arrested and stolen mail and what are believed to be break-in tools were found in the car.
“RCMP and Postal Inspectors are continuing to work together to deliver the recovered mail to its intended destinations and rightful owners,” said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey in a news release.
“Amongst the items seized by investigators, police recovered a cellular phone, gift cards and Canadian passports.”
A man and woman from Merritt are in custody and were to appear in court Monday.
