CALGARY – One person has been killed and another rushed to hospital after shots were fired in the northeast community of Martindale.
Police were called to the 100 block of Martinvalley Mews N.E. just before 11 a.m. Friday after reports of multiple shots fired in the area.
Official have confirmed one man has died and a second was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time, and haven’t yet released the age of either victim. They say the home where it happened is known to be a drug house.

They hope to speak with the second victim in hospital.
The Calgary Police Service held a news conference on Friday in response to the incident.
