Three men were arrested in connection with an early morning stabbing in downtown Montreal Saturday that sent one man to hospital.
Police were called to the corner of Ste-Catherine and St-André Streets at 4 a.m. ET, where they found a man with upper body injuries.
The victim was stabbed with an edged weapon, according to Montreal police spokesperson Daniel Lacoursière.
The 22-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the victim was involved in a conflict with a group, which then escalated.
Three men, aged 27, 28 and 33, were arrested in connection with the incident and are being detained for questioning.
The motive of the attack is not known.
The investigation continues.
