WINNIPEG — Manitoba RCMP are on the lookout for three men and two women in connection to a homicide nearly two decades old.
Tania Marsden was last seen alive on her 18th birthday on Sept. 9, 1998. Her body was found partially submerged and weighed down with a cement block, in the Assiniboine River on Sept. 29., nearly three weeks after she was last seen.

On Nov. 15, officers executed a search warrant on 865 Selkirk Ave., in relation to Marsden’s homicide. The police identification unit was also on scene.
On Tuesday, Pike said investigators are now on the lookout for five individuals in connection to the 1998 homicide. The people “appear to be connected to one another,” Pike said.
The above pictures are what the individuals would look like in 1998.
“We believe that identifying the individuals in the sketches could help lead us to Tania’s killer,” Pike said. “Tania deserves justice.”
Police are also searching for information on a mid-1990s four door Sedan. The car is in connection to the homicide, police said.
“There are families out there looking for answers, families that deserve answers,” Pike said. “People who do have information, we ask them to reach out and call us at Project Devote.”
