Downtown Kelowna street reopens after months of construction

After seven months of closures, Ethel Street between Bernard and Cawston is now open to traffic.

For months work has been going on to put utilities underground, repave the road, and put sidewalks and bike lanes in place.

There’s also new landscaping along the route.

The reopening marks the completion of phase two of improvements to Ethel Street.

Last year work was done between Highway 97 and Bernard Avenue.
