Police have laid charges after seizing multiple weapons and $10,000 worth of drugs from two Calgary homes earlier this month.
Officers searched the homes – located in the communities of Mission and Dover – on Nov. 10.
According to the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT), items seized from the homes include:
- 2 shotguns and ammunition
- 39 grams of cocaine
- 13 grams of methamphetamine
- 13 grams of marijuana
- 15 grams of hashish
- 70 codeine pills
- 110 unknown pills
- 17 lorazepam pills
- 5 grams of an unknown powder
- $3,647 cash proceeds of crime
- 9 replica firearms
- Various weapons including a collapsible baton, swords, nunchuks, and knives
Dana Sutherland, 33, and Alok Uppal, 40, are charged with a number of drug and weapons-related offences.
