WINNIPEG — The former Palomino Club is now just a pile of rubble after being torn down Monday.
The building on Portage Avenue was home to the self-proclaimed world-famous bar for 27 years. It opened November 21, 1988. and 28 years later to the date is was demolished.

A condo building with 60 units will now be built on the land.

In June the club relocated to a new location on Main Street just north of Portage Avenue.
