Police are asking the public’s help identifying a driver involved in a hit and run in downtown Saskatoon on Saturday.

The collision occurred at 3rd Avenue and 22nd Street East at around 5:25 p.m. CT.

Police said a vehicle turned southbound onto 3rd Ave. from 22nd St. and struck a man who was riding a motorized scooter.

The driver then fled the scene.

MD Ambulance paramedics treated the man, who suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle is described as black in colour, possibly a newer Buick, with a male driver and a passenger.
