Montreal police have arrested three men in connection with the death of a French man in 2014.
Eric Saturnin Emenenguene, 32, was last seen at his Hochelaga-Maisonneuve home on July 7, 2014.
He was expected to head back to France in August but never made it.
In the summer of 2015, police found Emenenguene’s body in the Lanaudiere region.
An autopsy confirmed his death was a criminal act.
Police asked for the public’s help which led them to arrest the three men on Friday: 29-year-old Carl Morin, 51-year-old Pierre Morin and 29-year-old Francis Perron-Longpré.
The men appeared in court via video conferencing Saturday.
Carl Morin is accused of first-degree murder and committing an indignity to a body.
