WINNIPEG — A 22-year-old man was rushed to hospital Thursday after he was shot in Winnipeg’s Riverbend neighbourhood, according to police.
Winnipeg police officers responded to the 100 block of Pinetree Crescent at approximately 2:30 p.m. after hearing reports of a ‘firearm related incident’.

The victim was found with upper body injuries and transported to hospital. He’s now in stable condition.
In news release on Friday, police reported the victim had been shot after answering the door to his home.
The suspect has been described as 30 to 40 years old and 5’11”. Anyone with information regarding the incident are asked to contact investigators at 1-204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 1-204-786-8477.
