Global News has learned he’s about to attempt a comeback.

On Friday, Sullivan will officially announce he will run for the BC Liberals in the next provincial election.

It’s expected he will run in the Vancouver – False Creek riding.

Sullivan will run for a party led by Christy Clark. A woman he defeated for the NPA nomination for mayor.

He said he decided to run when he was at the Liberal convention in Whistler.

Expect more Liberals to get off the sidelines as the provincial election nears.
