North Battleford shooting sends man to Saskatoon hospital

A man is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital following a shooting in North Battleford, Sask.

Battleford RCMP said the shooting happened early Thursday evening on 14th Avenue.

Police arrived to find a man in the alley between 106th and 107th streets suffering from a single gunshot wound.

He was taken to a Saskatoon hospital with what police believe are non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect vehicle believed to be linked to the shooting has been described as a two-door, grey Pontiac Sunfire. It was last seen heading southbound on 107th Street shortly after the incident.

Police continue to investigate.
