YARMOUTH, N.S. – Southwestern Nova Scotia is losing another transportation link.
Twin Cities Air Service is pulling out of Yarmouth.
Company owner Nate Humphrey says scheduled flights between Yarmouth and Portland, Maine will cease Dec. 31.

He says the company isn’t selling enough tickets to make money.
As well, Humphrey says increased costs for labour, insurance and fuel have also hurt the business over the past two-and-a-half years.
The Starlink air service – which flew to Portland and Halifax from Yarmouth – was suspended in 2009 and the ferry service that linked Nova Scotia with Maine was shut down in 2010.
