CFB Gagetown sergeant charged with accessing child pornography

A military sergeant at CFB Gagetown has been charged with accessing child pornography while on duty.

The Department of National Defence said in a release a member of the 5th Canadian Division Support Group forces was on duty when he is accused of accessing child pornography between June, 26, 2014 and Sept. 22, 2014.

Sgt. Brent Douglas Hansen has been charged with accessing child pornography and one count of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline.

DND says Hansen remains on duty.
