One woman is dead and another woman has been rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after they were struck by vehicles in Toronto Sunday.
Toronto police and paramedics were called to Grenview Boulevard North and Bloor Street West, near Royal York Road, just before 12 p.m. after a woman in her 80s was struck by vehicle. She died at the scene.
Emergency crews were called to McCowan Road and Finch Avenue East an hour earlier after a woman was hit. Paramedics rushed her to hospital with a police escort in life-threatening condition.
Police continue to investigate both collisions.
